Videoplaza to discuss anti-ad blocking tech, live monetization at Admanagerforum in Munich

Videoplaza’s Roland Oberländer and Anna Spektor will collaborate to present a discussion on anti-ad blocking technology and monetization of live events at 16.15 CET, Thursday at this year's Admanagerforum for Marketers in Munich.

The two will discuss working with an Ooyala and Videoplaza solution and using Videoplaza’s anti-ad blocking solution Karbon Unlock and its live event monetization tool, Karbon Live.

The Admanagerforum is the German-language platform for the exchange of information for professionals in the field of ad management, Ad Technology and Ad Operations. The series allow experienced agency and marketing execs to exchange views on current issues in the industry and network.

Videoplaza is an Ooyala company.

Despite increasing competition from over-the-top players and from satellite providers, and declining subscriber numbers, the cable industry in the European Union has continued to grow with gross cable revenues topping €22.4 billion ($23.34 billion) in 2015, a 5.7% increase year-over-year.

More than half of cable revenues in 2015 (53%) came from Internet and phone services, according to a report from IHS Markit, with Internet revenues up nearly 10% to €7.2 billion.
