When we released the updated forecasting feature within Ooyala Pulse last year we knew we had something special on our hands and our customers agreed with us.
Following on from Ooyala’s appearance at F8, the Facebook developer conference in April, we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Ooyala Live v1.4 that fully enables customers to publish video instantly to a Facebook page, event, or group that they own, manage, or are a member of, using Facebook’s Live Graph API.
Ooyala Pulse, the adserver of choice with many global broadcasters and media companies, now offers the ability to set explicit time constraints for ad breaks based on type of content, length of content, or user device.
Having the ability to specify either a time duration or a set number of ads to play during an ad break, similar to linear TV, allows publishers to further manage the user experience that works best for their viewers to keep them engaged longer.
Ad blockers are shaping up to be a major headache for publishers, one that could cost them as much as $27 billion in lost revenue by 2020, Juniper research reports.
