[? [MUSIC PLAYING] ?]
So one of the main reasons that we switched from our old player to Ooyala is because Ooyala was everything that our old player wasn't. They're always coming out with new functionality, new support for other set-top platforms. It feels like a very personal company and a very personal brand.
Using Ooyala allowed us to really easily integrate with our ad partners, so monetizing videos became much easier. We were able to do that very seamlessly. Everything's already integrated with the player for us. If you're using Google DFP, for example, it's already all set up. We can traffic our video ads without having to have a Flash developer on staff to actually work on these customized players, and we're able to just do everything by just picking it up and using it, more or less.
Video is transcending your browser, so there's a need to be on the mobile devices. There's a need to be on set-top boxes, on all smart TVs. And the great thing about Ooyala is that it's kind of exposed what those platforms are.
Real time Ooyala analytics is super important to us from a content perspective. If we know a certain type of video is doing very well, then we can also target our ads that way. So we're able to monetize better through the analytics, track and tailor our content better through the analytics, small things like that that we really are able to promote our content to users through real time analytics.
Ooyala allows me to amplify my strategy, so instead of being reactive, I can be proactive.
