SYDNEY, Australia (February 15, 2016) -- Vicki Lyon has joined Ooyala, a Telstra subsidiary and a leading innovator in premium video publishing, analytics and monetization, as its new director for ad tech in Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ). Lyon was previously the chief commercial office for Site Tour, where she helped bridge the gap between programmatic buying and outdoor advertising in Australia. Before that she was the vice president of ad-tech solutions for Telstra, as well as the managing director for SpotX in Australia, responsible for establishing and growing the company’s APJ operations.

Applying her knowledge and expertise of the ad tech market in APJ, Lyon will be responsible to build demand and strengthen sales for Ooyala ad-tech products, including its ad server product, Ooyala Pulse, and its anti-ad blocking solution, Ooyala Unlock. She will be responsible for overseeing its ad tech business throughout Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan and India, leveraging her well-rooted industry experience to develop new business with targeted premium publishers, broadcasters, programmers and networks.
