Ooyala enables GigaOM to expand online video delivery
(Mountain View, CA) June 08, 2010- Ooyala Inc., the leader in online video technology, today announced that it has been chosen to power video across GigaOM's seven award-winning web sites. GigaOM is the media company that provides technology insiders and enthusiasts news and in-depth analysis.
Ooyala's robust platform, Backlot, will now make it easy for GigaOM to deliver and monetize video content across all seven of its fast-growing technology sites including the flagship gigaom.com. Backlot will help give GigaOM viewers timely and relevant content.

The popular media destination is currently developing GigaOM TV which will feature a 3-camera studio and house GigaOM's vast library of archived content. GigaOM is currently using Ooyala's YouTube sharing feature to add YouTube videos directly to its account, display the videos through its own player, then use Ooyala's powerful analytics tools to evaluate results.
