Jay has built successful technology companies for more than 20 years. Before joining Ooyala, he was CEO of Agile Software, a leading enterprise software company that was acquired by Oracle. Earlier, Jay was EVP at PeopleSoft, where he built and led the company's $1B+ global services organization and was previously President of its $400M+ products division. Before PeopleSoft, Jay held executive roles at start-up Red Pepper Software and SAP. Jay has started or backed several successful companies and has an established reputation as an entrepreneur and advisor.
Jay has a B.S. in Management from San Jose State University, and he serves on the advisory board
for the school's Lucas Graduate School and SJSU College of Business. Jay also advises companies in diverse industries including sports media, education, and enterprise technology. He is a member of Ooyala's board of directors.
