Jay Fulcher

President & CEO

Jay Fulcher oversees all aspects of Ooyala's strategy and operations, with a special focus on growing Ooyala's brand and business around the world. Since becoming CEO in 2009, Ooyala has been the fastest growing video technology company in the world.  With more than 1,000 customers in more than 100 countries, Ooyala is a global provider of comprehensive video solutions for broadcasters, consumer brands and MVPD's.

Today, Ooyala reaches more than 200 million consumers each month and processes over 2 billion analytic events every day.  Ooyala's ability to reach and analyze audiences in every region, across all devices, gives customers the insights and capabilities they need to engage viewers and personalize content. Jay has built successful technology companies for more than 20 years. Before joining Ooyala, he was CEO of Agile Software, a leading enterprise software company that was acquired by Oracle.  Earlier, Jay was EVP at PeopleSoft, where he built and led the company's $1B+ global services organization and was previously President of its $400M+ products division.  Before PeopleSoft, Jay held executive roles at start-up Red Pepper Software and SAP.  Jay has started or backed several successful companies and has an established reputation as an entrepreneur and advisor.

Jay has a B.S. in Management from San Jose State University, and he serves on the advisory board
for the school's Lucas Graduate School and SJSU College of Business. Jay also advises companies in diverse industries including sports media, education, and enterprise technology.   He is a member of Ooyala's board of directors.
